A review of all the football actions in Europe's major leagues on Friday.
Belgian Jupiler Pro League
The Jupiler Pro League kicked off tonight as Club Brugge saw off Charleroi 2-0.
In Felice Mazzu's first game in charge of Charleroi, his men were unable to kickstart his reign with a win despite their hosts going down to 10 men when Timmy Simons was sent off in the 21st minute.
They could not cash in and when they lost a man of their own in the shape of Damien Marcq's 45th-minute dismissal, their chance was gone.
Wang Shangyuan scored the first goal of the season (67) and Jonathan Blondel wrapped things up in the last minute.
Danish Superliga
FC Nordsjaelland picked up their first point of the new Superliga season as promoted Viborg claimed a 1-1 draw at Farum Park.
The 2012 champions from Zealand finished as runners-up to FC Kobenhavn last season and the new campaign got off to an inauspicious start with a 4-0 defeat at Esbjerg on Monday.
Nordsjaelland could have taken all three points tonight but Nicolai Stokholm's second-minute opener was cancelled out by Lucas Jensen in the 52nd minute.
